Join us for the 3nd Annual Fun Run and Walk as part of
Mapleton Town & Country Days, to be held in Hertitage park on Saturday June 8th. The event is sponsored by the Mapleton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Our 1st Annual Fun Run and Walk was held on June 12th, 2010 as a part
of the town celebration. Nearly 50 participants braved the heavy showers, umbrellas and smiles in tow, to kick off the 5K run and 2 mile walking event that started and ended at beautiful Heritage Park.  An exciting finish was witnessed by all as first place Kyle Sieberg and 2nd place Eric Larson finished with 2 seconds between them, with times of 19:06 and 19:08 respectively!

Registration at Heritage Park will open at 8 a.m., the 5K run and 2 mile walk will kick off at 9 a.m., all beginning and ending at Heritage Park in Mapleton.  Pre-registration is requested but not required, and registration forms can be found online here or by calling the chamber at 507-5247-4756 or Jenny Doering at 507-327-0284, or they can be picked up at the Plaid Piper.

All proceeds from the events registration fees will go to sponsor local groups in the Mapleton community.
